The space to grow
your business

Work is well underway in Rushden to improve the environmental and economic vitality of the town.

Rushden is East Northamptonshire’s largest town, located in the south of the district, with an estimated population of 29,514. The town centre High Street has several national chains including Boots, Argos and WH Smith as well as an unusually high proportion of independent speciality shops, which help it stand out from the average ‘clone’ high street.  The planned regeneration of Rushden will help improve the town’s future economic and environmental well-being as well as improving the vitality and viability of the town centre.

Rushden has several successful business parks, including Express and Crown Business Parks and is the location for many nationally and internationally known companies, including Marriott Construction, R P C Containers Ltd, John Lewis/Waitrose, Belkin Ltd and Asda.

East Northamptonshire also has business parks in Raunds, Thrapston, Higham Ferrers, Irthlingborough and King's Cliffe, offering businesses high quality office space and industrial units. Companies located on these parks include Morrisons, Primark, Paperchase, Freightroute, Robert Wiseman Dairies, Whitworths Ltd and Indesit.

Oundle is the focus for tourism activity in the District but is also home to Fairline Boats.
